How do I apply to TL Modeling Agency?
You can apply directly through our Become a Model page. Complete the application and submit the requested information and photos for review. If we feel you may be a good fit for our agency, you will be contacted by email with the next steps.
Do I need professional photos to apply?
No. Professional photos are not required when you first apply. Clear, recent photos that accurately show your appearance are perfectly acceptable for the initial review. If you are accepted by the agency, professional images will be required for your agency portfolio.
Do I need modeling or acting experience?
No previous modeling or acting experience is required. We represent both new and experienced talent. Casting directors are often looking for a wide range of looks, ages, personalities, and experience levels.
Is there an age requirement?
TL Modeling Agency represents children ages 4 and up, teens, and adults. We represent a wide range of ages and looks based on the needs of our clients and casting directors.
Does TL Modeling Agency guarantee modeling or acting work?
No legitimate agency can guarantee bookings. Our role is to represent and submit talent for opportunities that match their look, age, experience, and other casting requirements. Final casting decisions are made by the client or casting director.
Is TL Modeling Agency exclusive?
TL Modeling Agency offers non-exclusive representation. This means our talent may have opportunities outside of the agency as long as they follow the terms of their agreement.
What happens after I sign with the agency?
Once your paperwork and required materials are completed, your professional profile is added to our agency roster. Your profile is available for casting directors and clients to review, and we may submit you for opportunities that match your qualifications.
How will I know about auditions and casting opportunities?
Some casting opportunities are emailed directly to our talent. Others are handled internally, meaning we submit talent who fit the casting specifications. If a casting director requests an audition or additional information from you, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Does everyone receive every casting call?
No. Casting calls are based on specific requirements such as age, height, location, look, experience, or other criteria. You will only be contacted for opportunities that may be appropriate for you.
What commission does TL Modeling Agency receive?
TL Modeling Agency receives a 20% agency commission on work booked through the agency.
Do you represent talent outside of Houston?
Yes. Although TL Modeling Agency is based in Houston, we represent talent in Texas and surrounding areas, and some opportunities may be available in other markets depending on the project.
How do casting directors see my profile?
Talent profiles are displayed on our agency website and can be viewed by casting directors and clients. We also submit talent directly for projects when they match the casting requirements
What happens if a casting director is interested in me?
If a casting director or client requests you for an audition, callback, booking, or additional information, TL Modeling Agency will contact you with the details and instructions.
Does my child need to attend modeling school?
No. Modeling school is not required to apply to or be represented by TL Modeling Agency.
